: Pastor,
: You are in my prayers and so is your cat. I hope things get better, if the vet becomes more ignoratn than it seems they already are for what it is worth I would be more than happy to sit on the hood of his car and bounce. Also you may want to ask other customers if this has ever happened with any other pets, he may not know exactly what he is doing. Just a thought Sir.

Thanks for the bouncing offer. Scary thought for any vehicle...
Actually I talked to the vet today, finally. He was in the hospital with a friend who just had a stroke in Brandon. This is why he took so long to get his messages. Anyway, God has given me lots of grace, and I cannot do otherwise. I did not give him a hard time. He seemed genuinely sorry and deeply disturbed about this. He told me that in 35 years, he has never lost a male cat doing a simple neuter. He said that when he last saw Jazz he was awake and doing well. I guess either the other vet or a vet tech remedicated the cat to calm him down when he was licking his wounds, and that 'mystery' person killed him with an overdose. My vet says he is going to track it down Monday at the hospital and find out who did it. Of course there's the chance nobody will admit it, but that is the way it is. Jazz is already gone, and I cannot bring him back. I am not going to lose my fellowship with God harboring bitterness. I have the power to forgive in Jesus' name. I will. I will use this power; I will become more powerful.
And I will pray for my vet's friend with the stroke: Dr. Stan Ricker (sp?). Hey, you should pray for him too. That ought to really annoy satan--all of us praying for a guy we've never known who is a friend of another guy you all have never known who is a vet that satan tried to make your pastor hate. Instead of getting the bitterness he wanted, satan succeeded only in motivating a whole new group of saints to pray for this poor guy in the hospital--all because God has chosen to heal him.
Now how cool is THAT? I really love this God we serve.
And Bill is right: Jazz is safe and sound with the one who loves him best--as we will also be one day. Till then, we can live, we can love, we can BE...
...in a parallel universe.
