I like Pam because she is sensitive in a way that I will never be. Her kind of compassion is desperately needed, and we should all highly prize it. She has been a blessing to many people, and we are much richer because of her. There is a blazing intensity to Pam's emotions that just seems to demand a response. Unfortunately, the appropriate response is impossible for me, being the personality type that I am. Consequently Pam thinks I do not like her, and I cannot seem to convince her otherwise. This kinda sucks...
