Well, at least Chris and "G" showed up, so it wasn't a total loss:-) You can ask them about it when you see them. We had over 100 kids with grown-ups in tow. Many of the adults complimented us about the work we put into the haunt. We have a few ideas for next year already. (Yes, it WILL be Harry Potter again, but all the 'big work' was done for this year, as we revamped the usual, and made the new scenery this year. I planned for some church members to drop in, and had iced tea, and popcorn waiting in the wings, but it turned out that I was kept busy the entire night, with a lull in the action around 7:30, but withing 10 minutes we were swamped. I had kids standing three deep waiting to be placed. What fun! Mom and I had the best time, and for the first time, my brother Mike was getting into the act! I may have created another monster:-) About an hour of video was shot by my brother. His girlfriend Angel, had placed the placement hat on all the children who wanted to be ushered into Hogwarts School. A great time was had by all. Mom and I are already hashing out for next year. The talk bantered about is that I will play Professor Snape. Looks like the Wolf Man I usually do is on vacation next year as well. Halloween falls on a Friday in 2003, so this means that the kids might stay out a bit later, and we are talking about staying open an additional hour or more.

Anyone want to play a character in H.P. next year?
