Subject: Thursday Gathering update!
Update,
I know this could be getting old. But I am still asking for urgent prayer. Linda my wife has come under same attack as Daniele and myself severe pain in her arms, but now shooting across her shoulders & chest & into her neck. she hardly ever complains of pain, so we know this is severe, to the point it paralyzes her for short periods of time. also the girl we had singing this past Saturday night, well, her Dad came to hear her play (a miracle) and when he got home had, you guessed it, severe chest pains, so bad they rushed him to hospital, thought it was a heartattack. after they checked him out he wanted to go home though they wanted to keep him overnight. Then early the next morning the pains started up all over again. But this time he asked his wife to lay hands on him and pray for him. now this was a miracle since he had denounced Christianity. So, what Satan meant for evil God turned around for good. iT feels better knowing that as this happened to me it wasn't just me or in my mind or imagination.
We tried to pull trailer with music & kitchen equipment this morning to head to downtown outreach and got trailer and van stuck. then went to crank bulldozer left at property to try and pull out van, and dozer would not crank. So, Linda and children got out and we pushed the van out which is impossible except for the Lord. Then we went the wrong way to head back to Asheville and we had a flat tire. But just down the road from a tire store. the person helping me turns out was a southern gospel artist who had just come off the road. and he helped us get 2 tires on quickly and even knows where there are a couple of buses for sale that we might could use for the ministry.
we don't pretend to understand all this. I am just looking for something good to come out of all of this so I know God will win and all things happen together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purposes. please continue to pray for traveling mercies for team coming in from different places also for all the mechanical and electrical equipment to be used during the outreach. Protection over children and family members. especially for the health and protection for people around the ministers for this outreach. and for finances as well for nothing has come in yet other than the one churches support.
I again want to thank all of you who have responded by praying and emailing, your encouraging words mean a lot. I know I am emailing often but I was asked by several people to keep everyone updated. I know you are all very busy people. But I am feeling a lot of strength just knowing I can communicate with such a special group of people and that you all are praying and standing with me. thank you for being there for us. and again especially for standing with me. I am not alone. and it feels much better. and is much easier to stand when you know you are not alone. For I know God is there but I need my brothers and sisters to help hold my arms up. know that I have peace knowing God will carry thru.
