Jason, It was so good to see you this Sunday. It's been too long! If you promise to come back, I promise that I'll tell Steve not to put you on the spot. He'll do it anyway, but I'll tell him, okay? Your girl, Nancy, is very cool. You have good taste in the ladies! BTW, my husband loves the fact that you enjoy "brain-drenaline." He is too oft deprived of intelligent conversation. Uh, that would have nothing to do with his wife, though.
: Sunday was fun. It was good to see everyone - I felt very welcomed, although somewhat put on the spot (thanks for the "heads up" Steve ;-).
: Oh, and extra-special thanks to Steve for the double-syringe shot to the ear. As always, you filled my head with an extra dose of "brain-drenaline." I decided today to share a passage from Ecclesiastes that Nancy brought up in conversation a while ago. I think it is tied very closely to Steve's message regarding living as servants as Jesus lived (rough paraphrase of my own understanding). This passage seems to end somewhat as a riddle (in my mind, anyway...).
: Ecc. 4:9 - 12
: "Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone? And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a three-fold cord is not quickly broken."
