I have been waiting to share about Curitiba for some time now. This city is such a special place. I am hoping that Marcos won't mind me doing my own second installment of PEL. There is so much I could say about a city built by human initiative, about low budget prgrams that actually effect change, about great public tranportation plans which promote the use of safe and timely busing or of environmentally friendly city planning. But, instead of rambling about all these wonderful aspects of Curitiba, I thought I'd just show you some pictures and let give you some good links for further exploration.

I will mention that Curitiba is a city in the state of Paraná, Brasil. Here is the state flag and the seal of Paraná:
