Sweet, wonderful Bill! Before I begin, let me ask you to REFUSE to feel guilty or bad about making anyone else feel guilty or any of those ridiculous things we sensitive folk feel when we talk about something that upsets us and are afraid of how those strong feelings will be taken.
It is absolutely acceptable and important for you to be able to express your downer stuff as well as your upper stuff. And if guilt was the only reason that everyone at once decided to visit the PEL site--and that is doubtfully the reason--it would be okay, because they would see it.
NOW, I am truly sorry that you felt ignored. I read all the posts, and I love the educational stuff. I usually feel like I talk too much, so I don't respond unless I have a moment of profundity. But I'm fascinated by other cultures and I also enjoy the art sites and the philosophy and the silly stuff. I really, really appreciated the holiday information you posted. I haven't ever really gotten in to the message board thing until this one, because I've never found such a diversity of intellectual, spiritual, emotional, and silly people.
Thank you for speaking up. I never would have known. I enjoy you, Bill. We may never know each other as deeply as we want to--there's so many of us and we're so different--but I feel the same way about you in that I want to know as much as I can. Even in Tulsa, I want to know everyone in our church better.
