:ehemmmm... eh,,,shouldnt you being doing your homework.. B ) ....

thank your for your post to my post..you really are a smart man..i would like to print some of what you said to share it with some people who may never come to our board or even or church..

With every vision requires great sacrifice.. i agree with you..that is why i am still here. and not seattle or anywhere else. i want to see something happen here and more than want i will try to bust but and "trying to do" something. i know i did leave for awhile.. and during that time it was good to be isolated even if was self isolation. alot of good happen and since i have been back i want to see us grow and really have impact in some ways locally and universally. which it is happening little by little even in the face of the last attacks and ma's blindness. i see it like the prophet who prayeed for it to not to rain and it did not rain and then he prayed and there was a cloud and then the cloud grew and then bammmm here comes the rain,,one of my granddads told me a story and it is true kinda of reminds me of the friend of yours that prayed for icecream..and the ice cream truck had an accident.,,a few years ago the lakota rez was going through drought and the people got together and prayed for the rains to come..they did a few times..one day my grandfather..says..ok we are praying for rain and i see no umbrellas...i am here for the long hall. sometimes i grieve i left for awhile but that is past and this is now.

"Reality check..i know what the defination is and thanks for sharing your view point on it ..
today i was thinking and trying to see how the next step can be done even with the pennies..
i know we need a place to meet in. i do have a few ideas. and i am calling around.. to see what fish will bite..steve i have been with you off and on for more than a third of my life and i dont want to see this die..

I think your vision is great..and likewise yours..tyhankyou for letting there be an enviroment to try something new...
The art in the windows can be impressive also. yeah they will be awesome..
i can see the walls painted the nursery painted etc. i can see people enjoying the place. andf if God wills we will get it and not he has another idea..(duh haha)

Anyone who has a big vision had better be committed to developing great personal discipline and fortitude, because the person with the vision will be violently changed by it.

steve i am not perfect in fact i probally ( place your favorite cuss word here------) but i am healing growing and being challenged in some really interesting ways also coming to terms with me ..and seeing glimpses of how God sees me..there has been things i have said no to because i want to follow GOd here. to quoyte you..you really dont have any idea,,because we havent talked about the healing God is doing in me..one day soon i hope we can chill for an hour or so and do this.
steve i do have respect for you and gratitude and sometimes we have said the same thing with different words. but iam here for the long hall..kinda like white on rice..
the resources yeah right now it sucks but iam doing the best with what i have at this time and it is frustarting big time..it is breaking me and i have to keep moving forward some how,,

they do not follow through when the going gets really tough. yeppers....here is toilet man to rescuse...as i said i am here with ya and i am not planning on doing anything different ...i could it would be so much easier..but nope..i will be here is there is two people..

Anyone who has a big vision had better be committed to developing great personal discipline and fortitude, because the person with the vision will be violently changed by it. He/she will be assailed, wounded, deconstructed, destroyed, and renewed by their vision over and over. We have a lot of dreamers par excellence. We have few who have developed the discipline and maturity to make it happen. This is the real reality check.

thank God it is called a walk..because if not we are all screwed...i can say some of the lesser dreams i have had i have accomplished. and it is the same no matter the size of of dream or vison..and GOd was faithful and he will be faithful..i can agree with you on this whole paragraph..

steve i love ya man...and i am mean no harm in anything i wrote...i actually agree with ya..and i am here as a friend and brother,...have a good one .......and get back to your homework.......

"Reality check" does not mean "No way," nor is it any kind of fundamental correction. It is only a making aware of some thing(s) that should be taken into account when making plans (in our case, in making immediate plans, not far future plans). That is all I meant. "Reality check" is a term commonly used in my academics that simply means to see and consider another aspect or facet of something, nothing more. It does not necessarily imply philosophical or fundamental error. (It may imply that there is a possibilty of flawed application or understanding in some contexts.)

: With that said, I think your vision is great. If we make it past this era where we can barely scrape together the pennies for a storefront and we end up owning a building somewhere, we can certainly do some amazing things with it. But even for now, the interior of our little storefront can be pretty darn amazing. The art in the windows can be impressive also. I have no doubt you will contribute greatly.

: With every vision requires great sacrifice. Most of those who have the great visions do not pay the price to make them happen. I have seen this my whole life. Either they do not count the cost, and/or they do not have the resources or abilities necessary, or they do not follow through when the going gets really tough.

: Jesus said that we ought to "count the cost" before we begin. Good advice.
