The dream is not dead.
Many people have shown us their hearts the last few days. With all of that ripping of flesh and separating of ribbage to expose hot, pulsating, blood-transporting muscles, we are a bit overwhelmed. And we just cannot walk away. At least until we clean up the mess...
We are meeting at our house Sunday at 3:30. We will continue the Gospel of Mark study we began a month ago. We will continue to pray and put away money for the building we have dreamed of, the art gallery, the coffee house, the poetry jam, the open mic stage, the live music, the classes, the worship...
We will save some money by meeting in my home. While not as many people will fit and we cannot advertise this publicly, that is perhaps a good thing. Let's let our "public" debut be when we open our building, already tricked out and looking like another world. We can advertise in the newspaper and the weekly rags and hand out flyers, and kick everything off with an ART SHOW and acoustic music.
So if you want to hang with us through this prep time and be the core of the new community we are opening, please join us. This offer includes everyone (Mr. K too). Just don't come trying to storm the gates, eh? ;-)
