do you ever feel that even tho' you're trying to be funny people are thinking in the back of their minds that you're an absolute idiot? I was trying to run a team meeting at work, but i'm sick and on cold medicine which tends to make me somewhat loopy. i just couldn't make a sentence come out for anything.
i've had a very long and horrible week. chad and i are both sick (it sounds like a hospital ward) and the weather is doing nothing to help. i had a parent come in this week for a conference and i've never in my life felt so scrutinzed. he was incredibly mean and quick tempered; i could feel the heat creeping up my chest to my face. it took everything i had to bite my tongue and not lose control.
i'm not sure if i'll be at church this week. i've got dinner with my mom, a work party saturday, and jillian is also coming to town. we're supposed to go to a bridal shower in ft. myers on sunday, and one of my students gave me tickets to see his family in a christmas play at his church that morning.
argggg.. there's so much to do, and all i really want is to lie in bed with a book and get better!
