Wow... Cool dream. I don't understand how you remember so much detail from your dreams. I dream all the time but rarely remember the details. I remember a little after I wake up but throughout the day it gradually disappears. If I do remember a lot of a dream, it is usally a scary one. I do know that I get chased through the dark in a lot of my dreams.
Last night I dreamed something about animals. I was at a friend's house and could see that the neighbors were having a yard sale. I was completely fascinated by five containers of differing sizes and a huge bed because they all had colossal elephants on them. The containers were like the containers for storing flour and sugar, but these were all massive in size (larger than people). For some reason I had to wait my turn to go look at them. This caused me no small amount of anxiety because I had to have them and was afraid that somebody would buy them before I got over there. That's all I remember.
