I HAVE been thinking a lot about baptism lately...you know...I have dedicated myself to God and changed my way of life (more than you could ever imagine) so that I (try my darndest) to reflect Him. I just don't know what to do. Everything I've read on it so far says that Churches have classes you have to take first, then you can be baptised, so I was waiting until either
A) a class was announced so I could sign up
B) Someone else brought it up so I could sort-of 'get a clue' about it and open up to it that way
C) Get enough 'gumption' to talk to Steve about it...(But, I wanted to do more research before broaching it with Steve because I didn't want to come off as being completely idiotic! Everything I've come up with thus far basically states it takes years and years before you're allowed to dedicate yourself to God and receive the Holy Spirit through baptism)
So...that being said...who wants to fill me in on the 'deal with Baptism'...Actually, I might make this a seperate post..not sure yet...but I might!
