That's the bumper sticker I should have had on my poor dilapitated Chrysler.
Yeah I was driving home and we heard this clunk of metal and then this wonderful scraping sound as something dragged along the pavement on Highway 54. I was almost home.
So I stop, get out, look under. Yep! Something has fallen off partially and is now dragging. Hmmm, doesn't look like the muffler or tailpipe. I carefully climb under the car in the wet grass. It's dark I can't tell what it is but it's cool, and the end touching the ground is twisted metal. This can't be good. "I am not putting another dime into this sad excuse for an automobile!" I think.
Josh and I tied the piece to the axle with twine to stop the scraping and I drove home. This, I believe was the "last straw" on my "Fifth Avenue Camel".
Ok, my car wasn't so bad I think I got a good 4 years out of it, but the problems were many and I just wasn't willing to spend money (lot's of money) to get it in decent shape.
Long story short, you are now looking at the owner of a 2000 Dodge Caravan! Yeah! Share my joy!
