A Query For PS & The Board

I got to wondering last night well reading, does it ever say in the bible how the earth was populated. I know that Adam & Eve were the first, though are there any parts in the bible that explain how everyone else got here ?
This morning I was at P.H.C.C. and they gave a presentation on racisim and stuff one of there points was that we all came from ( our genes ) 7 women in Africa, they were saying that like 30,000 years ago life was on one continent.

This and last night has me thinking and I was wondering about where I could go in the word and find out more about our origins. If this seems trivial or this is something I should automatically no I am sorry for bothering you. I was just wondering.
