Well, to be honest, I'm sick of everyone's comments on this issue. Still, the issue is here. People naturally will talk about it. I just hope to be aware of it without getting to wrapped up in it. In other words, I don't want to deny the reality of it or how it affects me, but I also want to learn how to navigate in the meantime. How can our lives have a meaning and direction in wartime as well as peacetime. How can we have a method and a mind in the midst of a storm tossed sea? Hopefully we can learn how to think correctly during this time. What helps me is learning how to step outside time and get a more timeless view. Prayer and great spiritual reading can help here. Also, we need to be in this time, to be present, to sanctify this moment, as NOW is the moment of our calling. There is absolutely nothing wrong with us being born and living in the times we are in. I hope that we can let that somehow invigorate us. I hope we can hallow this time.
