to answer your question bill..i went because i saw a sense of community that few churches have
i went for the opportunity to get to know people and to connect on a real level with
people..and hopefully i did a little bit of that. i went because i saw what GOD was and still is
doing and i wanted to be a part. i went because of the witness of the spirit and because it's a
place that you want to take your friends to. i went because it was one of the few places i could take my ex girlfriend lori to..and hopefully it made an impact on her life. i went because i wouldnt
be looked down upon as some short haired pro vegan metalhead who needs "jesus" or is a rebel, because i could be me and express my poetry, thats why i went. because i could be me, and that was a good feeling, and that is why i feel that there are those who still go there..because they can be themselves, without restraint.
although i dont go there anymore due to run ins with people on behalf of my abrasive personality, and because i felt it was time to go elsewhere i just had to post this, in lue to what bill was sayin and hopefully someone here can take it for what it is..simply an honest post.
