: Good question: I would need to know more about Islam to see how they would view Christianity to answer this. Thanks for asking it though. I may not know enough about semantics, but I would say that sometimes the flippant or casual way certain Christians talk about their relationship w God might discredit Christians in the eyes of certain devout Muslims. I think that we need to investigate the idea of submitting to God in a more devoted way. For instance do we treat prayer casually? I'm not saying we have to turn to Jerusalem and pray 5 times a day, but I am saying that we might be more devoted to the practice of prayer in our own life. A devout Muslim can be our greatest teacher here.
