I just want to say that I love this group! I love the intelligent, and sometimes silly, conversation. Most of all, I really love the way we have learned to respond to each other, even though we have really different--and often strong--opinions. Some quotes:

Raoul: i attack that attitude itself and not the beautiful flawed person who said it…but…i believe that we should pray for a swift and decisive victory..also pray for my brother who is out there..that he will keep his spirits up and that GOD will grace him with the strength necessary to do his work.

Kat:: I know that this is scary and it seems wrong I would just remind you all that this war could cost George W Bush much more than a percentage of the polls. He is very aware of the lives that could be and have been lost over there...Absolutely - do not under any circumstances blindly follow your leadership - I say to you! But prayerfully consider that God is sovereign and has a purpose and a plan and maybe has something to do here…I respect your opinion and anyone else that is vehemently anti-war.I share many of the same concerns as you. I am encouraged that people seem to have learned the lesson of Vietnam and are supporting our troops even if they disagree with war.
Kat, very perceptive. I worry about George being misled by prior frustrations and pride. But I love the way you see God even in this situation, and the way you avoid jumping on the blamewagon.
