If we take this building it will be lots of work at the onset. I cannot do much of it, and I am beginning to question if we can even consider a place like this, since no one else is really available in any substantial degree with any renovation expertise, and I am already in trouble with my studies because of the time I have spent on the building pursuit this week.

We would need a framer/carpenter and electrician to do renovations on the building--framing separate rooms w/ electric and lights, building a stage with power boxes, etc. This must be a quick and intensive thrust to get it done. (Not a casual, little today/little next week/whenever-I-can type of thing.) As such, we will most certainly have to pay someone to do it in a timely and fully professional manner. We will have to conform to fire codes, etc., and insurance requirements. (Not a good learn-as-you-go project.) If anyone has recommendations, please let me know. If we cannot work this out before we move in, then we will have to begin without any separate rooms and have to deal with the need for them later. As such, there would be no nursery and the kids would have to be playing outside with supervision at the onset.

Will also need someone to lay carpet--glue durable low-pile carpet to the concrete floor.

Will need painters.

Will need someone to design a strong system for hanging tapestries a few inches out from the wall on one side.

I have to research all the fire code inspection and liability insurance stuff next week.

It is just looking a bit overwhelming. I am wishing we could find a building a little more "set-up" already.

We need advertising design and printing fast (whichever building we get). 3 x 5 glossy cards, 2-sided would be the bomb. By Cornerstone at latest.

We're down to the wire if you want a new issue of the zine. If not started soon, it will not be possible either.

This has just been a reality check. Take it in a positive way, will you please? :-)
