If anyone is going to Cornerstone in Illinois, look for my sister! She's going for the first time ever. Blond bombshell, about 5'6", no makeup, lots and lots of giggling, probably wearing orange or something bright and goofing around. Keri Lammers.

God is good. I got hired on permanently at MetLife (I've been a temp), and while I was being hired, I was told that they may be closing our department in July, but now I'm eligible for severence pay. Tell me this isn't God: What business-person in their right mind would change someone from temp--no severence, no benefits--to an employee with full benefits and at least 8 weeks of severence pay, unless it was TOTALLY COMPLETELY GOD AT WORK?!!! Of course, we might keep our department, or I might change to another department, but it is currently very obvious to me that GOD IS AT WORK! My work!
Richard started a job last night as a CNA, working the midnight shift. Pray for him please, as he went off his meds when he started going to church, then he stopped going to church. Now he has a job for the first time since September, when he went into the hospital (not counting the piddly hours that Jackson Hewitt scheduled him for about a month before they realized they had way too many locations open). He's kind of freaking out. Meanwhile, I'm sleeping in an empty apartment, which I've never actually gotten used to. So pray that I'll get some sleep, too. But mostly, pray for him. Please. Thanks, guys.
Hey Cory (Corey, Corie, Coreeee--forgive my spelling)--I'm praying for you and your friends. Steve's lesson one: People can't be trusted, but God can. And man, is it ever true! Funny, we never talked much, but I think of you every now and then and I pray. You're so cool, and I know that Cari needs a bud like you.
