Hi all:
How is everyone? I see a few are happy and others are contemplative around here. They are both good things!
I've been reading and studying in Genesis lately. I've been trying to really know what the Word is saying and meaning when I read. Typically I use a concordance to help me with my understanding and navigation to relative topics.
Anyway. I read the following over and over again (in context, by itself, within the surrounding chapters beyond its immediate context) and am really intrigued by it:
"And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother's name was Joktan"
I wonder if that is an account of the physical splitting of the earth's continents. Do any of you have some thoughts on the matter?
