Steve Said: Run around naked, screaming and swinging a plucked chicken above your head?
Howl at the moon and remove squashed bugs from your toes for dinner?
Sleep in an old refrigerator and dream of alien swine attacking the earth?
How goes the job search?
Nancy Responds:
Gee Steve, at least now I have a list of things to do while I'm jobless and bored.
The interviews yesterday went fairly well...
Bank of America: Won't pay as well as I'd like, but it would be a job. I have a 2nd interview (by phone) on Wednesday.
Waterloo: Went great, he liked my background and said it was very suitable to the position. had two other interviews to go through...will call me on Monday.
Capital One: I have a phone interview (the first one) on Wednesday, wish me luck.
AIG: called last night to set up an interview, I have to call them back today.
Something or other Christian Academy: called today for an interview for a teachers aide. They'll call me back to see if my interview time request can work out for them.
THis is so hectic...and to make matters even more odd...I'm not sure if I should continue to take all of these days off at Immuno during my last two weeks to interview. I don't want to leave them either screwed or with a bad impression. Know what I mean? Either way though, I must get through these interviews...somebody's got to want me...I need moolah!
Thanks for asking though. How are you doing? Has the hectic pace eased up any since school has let out? Or have you found other things to make you run around at a million miles an hour. I wish I had the energy you find...mabey if I just start off with a butt load of coffee...that will put me in motion...and as we learned on Sunday: Once an object is in motion and focused in a particular direction, it's difficult to get off track. Of course, you said it much more succinctly...
