Nancy and I were talking about this the other day. It's like climbing a mountain. Every step in between the base and the top of the mountain is valid and necessary to getting to the top, but not every step is perfect. We sometimes place a foot wrong, or go up a bad spot and find we can't progress so we have to back up and go up a different way. A million things could happen. We might even need to stop often and rest. God is no less pleased when we have setbacks or stop to rest. Now, if we just gave up climbing and refused to try for the summit, perhaps that's not the best plan of action, but to make mistakes while trying to get to the top, well, that is fine. I'm sure Bob the Alien has made plenty of mistakes trying to climb mountains. But, then he sends these pictures of himself at the top. You know he didn't just get there w/out some work, and plenty of mistakes, but he kept trying and he learned how to walk, and how to pace himself, and how to breathe and all kinds of other things.
