first let me thank you all for your prayers. you have no idea how much i appreciate them. today was the first day all week that i didn't spend at some doctor's office. i got a call today from my ob/gyn and he received the radiology reports. i do indeed have an ovarian cyst, mostly liquid filled. they measured it to be 14cm x 11cm x 8cm.... in other words, he compared it to a rather large grapefruit. hopefully they'll be able to use an outpatient procedure where they go in thru' the navel and won't require any incisions, but there's no guarantee. the doctor is amazed that i had no clue that there was anything wrong, considering the size. he also says that women on hormones (such as my birth control pills) don't normally develop ovarian cysts... leave it to me to be the exception to the rule! they are going to contact the hospital and set everything up for me to have it removed. i should find out tomorrow *hopefully* when and where this will be done. i'll keep you posted. thanks again for all your prayers. i love you all!!!!!!!
