In April Rick Santorum declared his view on homosexual acts. Actually, I feel differently about this now than when I originally wrote it. I think I was wrong to list Santorum and Falwell as 'pariahs'. I think perhaps I disagree with his viewpoint on some level but I do not feel that he is necessarily a policital pariah. I think perhaps a political pariah would be more like someone the government considers an outcast. Perhaps the Dixie Chicks would be political pariahs for the Bush Administration? In that case, I guess I'd come dressed as Joan of Arc or Tiradentes? Not sure. Perhaps I just find Rick Santorum politically irritating and Falwell ultra-conservative and rude. This does not necessarily make them political pariahs.
