a few days ago i had a dream that was full of rivers becoming highways, and people going here and there, and all kinds of journeys taking place. it was a complicated dream, the kind that when you wake up you remember that you have already forgotten some incredibly important information that could have informed some part of your life, but now you have no idea what it was.
steve was off starting concerts, doing one here, doing one there, promoting. i was trying to get to him. i was in a large hotel room at the end of the dream, and i had been driving around on dark highways a lot, trying to get to steve, it was a long journey, and i never made it (woke up too soon).
but the reason i'm posting this, there was a part of the dream i remember quite clearly. there was a feeling in my chest that was very strong, a palpable feeling that filled that whole area from shoulder to shoulder. the feeling was a white light that shone there throughout my chest. the feeling was truth. no, it was Truth, with the capital T. it was real, it was all these things together. if you have had a feeling like this, you know what i mean. the feeling also had a very specific message, and it was this: Cari is going to be an evangelist.
i don't mean to say she's going to be anything, but in the dream it was very real. and it was the kind of evangelist we all should be, where we are just telling people the truth in our everyday lives, where it is woven into the fabric of our lives. it was as though i could see that cari was going to grow past some things, and grow into some things, and a new hand woven life was going to emerge that was full of confidence.
that is all i remember from the dream, i hope that it might mean something or be helpful.
