: I have to admit that I don't feel like posting here much any more. I don't feel like there is much I can share, and to be honest, I don't like putting my effort into creating posts that are usually ignored. This is not a guilt trip on anyone. This is just the way I feel. I'll continue to show up at church, and I'll continue to go to the class, which happens to really kick ass by the way, but I don't know if I'll be checking out this site daily like I used to. I don't know though. Perhaps I should just inundate this board w posts and continue to be a prolific poster. I just don't know. Infact, I wonder if anyone will even read this. Oh well, who knows? I know I'm not supposed to be talking bad about the board, and I'm not, but I guess I'm remembering a time when this tool was a real outlet for stimulating thought and conversation. I guess it's just not that anymore. It seems that it's just a place for relaying important messages and such. Whatever! Still, maybe that's what it can be for, a prayer sounding board and a place to report answers to prayer, like that great brain tumor thing. That is wonderful news. Maybe I should just let it be a place for prayer requests and a place where people catch up on their plans or whatever. Maybe I'll just stick to other boards for ideas. I just don't feel like the board is the place we are going for that anymore. Prove me wrong and I'll be happy to start checking in more often. This used to be one of the first places I'd come when I signed on, but now I rarely check it, since I don't expect anything to be happening outside of the prayer stuff, not that that's bad. For me, I just don't have time to produce what you want to see here, Bill. I have a feeling many others would also say the same. When there was less going on in real face-to-face communications, I think more people felt a need to use the board as you are describing--as an outlet for stimulating thought and conversation. The main outlets for many are now somewhere else. My sharing happens in the context of the church, classes, real face to face conversations, phone calls, etc. I personally cannot spend the multitude of extra time necessary to make essays out of thoughts I can express in a fraction of the time verbally, in person. Time just does not permit, and the demands of my church responsibilities on me do not permit. I will still reply to such posts at times if I can do so briefly, or if I feel that a certain post is the exception to the rule that really requires a longer response from me. That will be rare. Catch me in person. :-)
