Extraordinary things don't happen to me, or so I thought until today.
I mean, I realized that my perception has much to do with this thought is what I mean.
Nearly every day when I am at work my phone starts playing "Play That Funky Music" which is my special ring for home. And yes it was a white boy on the other end, as it usually is. After our normal "Mom can I go to so-and-so's house" conversation. Joshua said to me, "Mom are you having a good day?"
OK it's sounds like nothing, but it stopped in my perpetually annoyed-by-the-children tracks.
So out of the blue I realize, he doesn't just say it because I'm his mom - He REALLY loves me.
God, I have to learn to be more lovable.
