This is an email from a British friend Gary whose wife has been in intensive care for over a week. She had recent surgery and was doing somewhat better until today. This is what just happened:

I am sad to tell you that Katie is now back in ICU and fighting for her life. She suffered a Heart attack and a stroke brought on by a Pulmonary Embolism. There is a long story to this, which I will relay to you later. I am sad to advise you, that If she survives , she is likely to have total loss of movement in the left arm and leg. She has also suffered other brain damage, in addition to that related to the stroke. This is likely to present her with other challenges to face.
Thanks for your calls and email support, at this most difficult time for her.

Please pray for Katie! She is a wonderful, loving person and her husband Gary is also true blue. You may have seen Cari wearing some of the beautiful jewelry that Katie made. I really want to see Katie healed. Please help us pray!
