I'd love to hear some intelligent reviews o the movie after it has been seen.
I think we all have the same ideals in mind of what we want it to teach, but it is hard to say what the movie does when none of us have viewed it.
My big concern with this movie is that it will continue to 'creatively blur' the gospels, as you so aptly put. When I watched the trailer, I did not get a good vibe from it. So I will not see it myself. But If people do find it to be worthwhile, please tell the rest of us.
My only request is that you all think critically about the movie. Ask what it really says and teaches. Ask not whether or not it is accurate, but whether it adds anything to our current resources, and whether it is truly worth seeing, or would time be better spent reading the gospels ourselves.
But in the end, it is all going to be personal choice as to what we do and think about it, and that is as it should be.
