The clock reads 10:41pm right now and I am in the back of PU listening to some the most blessed mad coolest praise and worship I have heard in a long time. Listening to PS lead the group in worship tonight has me walking an old path.
I came to The Refuge a few times with Joe Hornbeck and was immediately loving the whole way PS sang about God, being Catholic I had never heard about prasing God in that fashion. i was won over on the song " I will call upon the lord ". After leaving Florida for college I found myself missing The Refuge and PS's way of conducting praise & worship. I use to walk down the road on days I prayed out loud and sing that song over and over.
To hear it sung tonight by PS, and to hear him put so much "umph" into it. Well it was a blessing beyond words. I find it a true showing of God that in moments of bleakness and pain he can release such power and satisfaction to a persons soul.
