DREAM OF 10/27 - 10/28: This is a weird one.....Read at risk of your own boredom....
first scene: Some blonde thin but muscular guy in tight floral swim trunks is carrying Steve Holland across a pool. Steve is laying in his arms like Christ in a pieta. He is holding onto a bag of trash from a party of some sort. I jump in and follow them. I'm swimming underwater so I can see Steve. None of us know who the guy is carrying Steve. While I'm underwater Steve explains that the bag of trash stinks so he wanted to be underwater until he got far enough away to throw it out. In the dream Steve didn't like swimming so he asked to be carried by this guy. Steve deposits the trash and the guy goes back to swimming and playing on the diving board. He said goodbye. I follow Steve.
second scene: Steve is in another pool southeast of the first one. He still has his swim trunks on, they were baggy and blue I think perhaps w a print on them. I wasn't wearing any clothes. Steve was looking up and there were some celebrities there. I'm not sure who all they were, but I kept thinking of Ocean's 11 or the Rat Pack or Bing Crosby or something. On the east side of the pool there was at least one man, not sure who. On the south side there was at least one as well. I kept thinking one of them was in a three piece suit. All of them were dressed up like at a fancy cocktail party. Anyway, for sure, on the western side of the pool there was Gavin McLeod and Ted Knight both wearing casual slacks and either sweaters or flannel shirts. Ted was on the left side of Gavin and was doing some hand trick where he made his right arm look like Gavin's right arm. At one point I stood up and leaned over to shake their hands and then Ted started playing around w Gavin's right arm which gave away his little joke. He was very proud of that. I felt a little strange that I was naked, but didn't care. I was out of the water just a little past my waist. But then I felt stranger after I was back in the water because Katharine Hepburn walked up on the left side of Gavin and Ted and I suddenly realized that she could see me naked through the water. It was odd. I guess since she was female. Also I think she was turning into Liz Taylor (young version) off and on, sort of like blinking Christmas lights. Katharine--Liz--Katharine--Liz. This must be boring you by now.
third scene: [Now I have clothes on] In this section of the dream I was still w Steve. Now we were in Tim Burton's house. The place was decorated very strangely. There were orange lei's everywhere and also lots of blue and yellow pictures. Most of the house was very bright with white and yellow and orange walls. Everything in that house was cheerful. It was so unusual for what you would imagine about Tim Burton. He was very proud of some mahogany elephant masks he had with long trunks. They were mounted all over his house. Each of them was about 4' tall and had the eyes and facial features indicated by white lines, painted on. They were very African lookings. Oh yes, no ears. just long faces, almost humanoid, but with large trunks. I don't know if they had tusks. I love mahogany. While we were here at Tim's house, my father was with us. Tim was showing us around his place and I ended up on some weird white chair that was like something out of Dr. Seuss. Steve was in the room to the west, the elephant heads were in that room as well as the room I was in. Tim was talking to me and my dad. He was going from wall to wall explaining all the little things in his house. He was very fond of the orange leis. At one point he said something like: "Isn't this just the best!?!?" Weird huh?
fourth scene: Steve and I are in a small room with a desk. I think we are counting down our memories of the day. At some point in the dream Steve had held up a paper plate. Upon it were different srokes of ink in various blues and greens. They were either horizontal or vertical strokes, not all straight lines, but more like blobs of ink stretched out into long shapes. He kept saying how much it looked like a forest. He enjoyed looking at it. I liked it too. I think that this plate was part of the party trash Steve had been throwing out. I think that Steve had those plates from a party he and Kara were throwing. Only Kara wasn't directly in the dream. I think the only female in the dream was the blinking Katharine Hepburn/Liz Taylor character. Well, Steve and I were in this room talking about all kinds of things. Steve Meigs was there and he was listening to us. I wish I could remember it all. I know we kept talking about this plate. I think that this plate was also in Tim Burton's house. Not sure though. Anyway, Steve seemed very fascinated by the topic of mummification and suddenly I was aware that at some point he had connected himself to mummification and I visualized him in some kind of yellow mummies scarves. Yellow like cheddar cheese. So, the dream ended somewhere around that point w Steve Meigs listening to me and Steve talking about that plate and mummification and how cool Steve thought that was.
