THE GLITCH THEORY

:
by: Bill Rogers

: The Glitch Theory states that a ghostly phenomenon might be a sort of strange imprint left on time and space in connection with a certain traumatic or otherwise powerful event. This imprint is like a record or footprint of a happening somewhere in the past, present or future, that has some kind of connection to a certain place, center or locus--hence, a 'glitch' in time and space.

: In most of my wanderings through evangelicalism (1,2) and popular culture (3,4) I have encountered these theories of ghostly phenomena:

: 1) they are superstitious creations
: 2) they are demons masquerading as departed souls (I don't lean toward this one)
: 3) they are disembodied spirits
: 4) they are manifestations of energy

: The Glitch Theory is my own and makes the most sense to me. It may already be in existence but I'm not sure where or with what groups. My 'glitch theory' might be someone else's theory only w a different wording and title.

Interesting indeed.
My son Matt recently went to St. Augustine,FL with the Boy Scout Troop. Apparently this is a sort of hotbed for the paranormal. Matthew claims to have seen more than one ghost, rather matter-of-factly I might add.
I don't see things like that, but i have felt "things" before.
