My problem with PETA is they never acknowledge anything other than the extreme. The problems pointed out in that clip (which i think is only good for the first 20 seconds or so...) can be resolved by means other than their suggestion of not ever eating meat. Actually, going vegetarian makes you irrelevant to the meat industry because you are not a customer. Purchasing your food from small organic farms takes the money away from big companies while still leaving you as a potential customer that they could recover if they change their practices. Organic foods are available everywhere I have lived, and are usually also sold at the big grocery stores, if you take the time to look.
Its another case of well-meaning people who are less effective than they could be because they don't look at the whole picture. Many more people would be willing to buy meat from a different supplier than to stop eating it. Plus, its winter time. Meat tastes good when it is snowing outside. *chomp chomp*
