: : Here's a website that is trying to gain support for a license plate (sporting John Lennon's self portrait) that will raise money for Florida's food banks.
: : You can add your support by filling in the survey.

: OK, here's another one. Here's a proposed plate that will provide funds for spay and neuter of dogs and cats.

I think that is fantastic. What would be even better is if there were leash & license laws for cats like there are for dogs. Right now my neighbor can have a cat and let it roam the neighborhood unfixed, doing whatever it pleases and I can't do a thing about it.
Not only that, in Pasco if you call animal control about a feral or stray cat they tell you they don't have enough man power to handle every call. Which means I have to drive out to Land O' Lakes and pick up a trap to catch a cat. I am not supposed to catch a cat I know has a home. Then when I do catch a cat and I am sure it does not have an owner, I have to drive it back out to Land O' Lakes after 12pm (because they don't open til 12pm) and drop it off. Which means I either leave a cat in a trap at my house all day until I am done working (I don't like this idea-besides, the one time I did it either the cat managed to get itself out or a "good samaritan" heard it crying and let it go) or I take a trip in the middle of the day out to LOL to drop off the cat, which is totally inconvenient for me.
Sorry about that little rant, you can see I am a little frustrated by the whole nonsense of it.
