Last night, when the moon was stolen, before it was returned, Març and I stepped into Covivant Gallery and wandered through the Black Velvet exhibition and also the smaller room on the north side of the Galleries. When we stepped in I thought I recognized the work there. On closer investigation, sure enough--it was the work of MATT PASQUARELLO, Chris' brother. Wow! Talk about magical! I had been anticipating a Matt show for years. How surprised was I to stumble upon his first show ever. I would stronly recommend seeing the show. Covivant is bringing some cool shows to town and I hope to see Matt's work more and more in the future. There are even tentative plans for a collection of short stories by Matt and brother Chris to be called eduardo galupe, the mexican giraffe, goes to los estados unis'.
