He may be stronger in some churches who follow his teachings more closely, but he loves us all, want us all to join him in his kingdom, and is a part of every church, trying to being them closer to hum. I find it impossible to beleive that Steve does not pray constantly about what he is doing in life. : : : God was not even included in it : : Impossible. Nothing happens that is not via God's will. This is an absurd statement to profess. : : : : : I have not fed the sheep so God is taking them away : : I cannot say what has or has not been done, as I am not around there, but I can say that God does not take anyone away from anyone else. God gives everyone the ability to understand and make their own choices. He provides us all with opportunities to learn and decide for ourselves what to do in our lives. Any changes in the community out there are due to personal choice. If God acted on people's behalf, would there be sin in the world at all? No. He makes choices available to us, and we act whichever way we choose. So do not think that God is giving or taking people. All of that comes from personal action and choice. Again, I cannot say what happens in Florida, because I am not there, but I suggest that people should not imply that God is punishing this community because of any lack. : : : Raul is a child of God--don't mess with him : : Everyone is a child of God -- And I mean EVERYONE. Steve is a child of god. Raul is a child of God. Raul, do not mess with Steve. Everyone else, do not mess with Raul. Compassion, understanding, and forgiveness are the only things that will heal conflicts such as this. : : Also, Raul, God only gives his blessings to those who use them to help his cause. Using them to augment your own self-esteem or self-worth actually will cause god to revoke his blessings. Be wary in how you profess your status as a child of god, as you may lose something very important. : : : I am NOT a child of God--my fruit shows this : : As I said, Everyone is a child of god. Even if we grant Raul's statment that there is no 'fruit', people are still a child of god. Lack of 'fruit' may show a lack of proper following of God's teachings, that is true. But it is not anyone's place to make that judgement call on what the cause and effect is. Lack of fruit may also be a deliberate test given by God to strengthen someone and prepare them for their calls laters in life. We do not know. We can never know. So we should enver judge. No matter what we think of others, we NEVER judge. It says so explicitly in scriptures. Steve's rough edges seem to be what endear him to everyone. Steve tries harder than most people to live a life that he believes in. And I have not seen him judge anyone. He did not judge me when I came to visit, even though he and I disagreed on some things. He still does not. Raul, why do you judge? : : : : : if god was in it..it would continue.. : : That is just not true. Who are you to know the will of God? Things fail and succeed on thier own, sometimes with the help of God if it is asked for in sincere and faithful prayer. But saying that anything that fails is against God is just plain silly. : : Also, Raul, I grow weary of your assumption that things are failing. : : : : : you have been warned steve. : : Raul, by what authority do you make these warnings? Did God appear to you and speak to you directly and tell you to profess these ideas? If not, then you are not prophetic. Frankly, you are going against God's will. You do not have authority over Steve or anyone else here, and should not be acting as if you do. You are not responsible for Steve's actions or this community. If you feel the need to share your feelings with others, do it in a loving, open communication with a true desire to teach and share. Stop this negative, judgmental rhetoric. Stop it now. It is not only not helpful, it create contention and brings negativity. : : : : : casting judgement on a child of god is something you do not want to do. : : True. So Stop doing it. : : : Final words -- : : : : Raul, as a child of God, God Loves you, and so do I. And I even know where some of this rhetoric is coming from. But you are misunderstanding what you have been taught. You are acting in a judgmental way, and acting beyond any capacity in which you have a right to act. I know that you think it is helpful, but trust me, it is not. It is harmful. If you do not like something about this community, than by all means, do not participate. But stepping in and trying to 'save' a community that you believe is flawed is arrogant, presumptious, and not the slightest bit Christ-like. : : And a note to Steve -- : : I am grateful that you have had the patience and perseverance to continue in your beliefs despite attacks like this. I commend you. However, I do need to urge you to look deeper into the motivations of Raul. His emails to you are hurtful, I admit. But do you really think that he is an evil person? Probably not. He is misguided. He is learning some things, and understanding only the surface level of them. He is then reacting without a true understanding of what he is doing. He has learned some partial truths, and needs to learn the full truth to become a positive, helpful man. He is not there yet. Personally, I think the two of you need to either sit down, truly hear each other, and talk out what is going on, or you need to agree to stay away from each other. I think that as painful as your relationship has been, you might learn something from each other. Strange as that may sound. : : : : And to everyone -- : : Be forgiving. Be compassionate. Getting angry over this will not help. Try to be understanding and accepting. Remember Raul's own phrasing -- He is a 'Child' of God. And (sorry Raul), but to be brutally honest, that is how he needs to be treated. Until he grows up and learns to discuss his issues like an adult, he needs to be treated like a child. If he were your child, you would try to teach and guide him.
