so, as posted before, we couldn't go to the hardcore show last night because i promised chad we would go to the jungle event they were having at Twilight. having not left till almost ten thirty i made sure to have a good energy drink so that my dancing feet would make it all night long. we get down to ybor (do you know how much i dislike ybor? aside from the castle, orpheum, and new world?) and to the club and there is absolutely no line. hmmmmmm... we ask how much, free... hmmmm????? look at the poster on the window and turns out the jungle show isn't until the 24th! so we're stuck in ybor with nothing to do (how many people will you hear make that statement?!) the orpheum was closed, didn't feel like paying to get into new world and well, everything else plainly sucks unless you really enjoy hanging out with drunken freaks (we weren't dressed for the castle, otherwise that's where i would have dragged chad). so we remembered that there was the hardcore show, but it was already 11:30 and there was no way we could make it to st. pete, from ybor, in time to catch the show. BLAH!!!!!! and to top it off, i still had to pay $5 to park for only thirty minutes.
so there you have it folks, chad and i's (me's?) first folly of the new year.
