sometimes it's hard to feel so disconnected
sometimes it's hard to stay engaged and want to walk away
it's so explosive standing right beside the one
who doesn't even speak your language or know just what you are
we all are reaching for things that give us meaning
we all are searching for the origin of all we seek to be
we all are broken and bandaged all together
love to be a greased-up otter and slip through your cluttered kitchen any day
sometimes it's hard to get the conversation
sometimes it's like a revelation of the Harper Valley PTA
sometimes the thing you want dissolves and then you like the things you have
