: ~N~: Do you often feel people aren't understanding what you're trying to get across?
: I do. I think it's a more common pheonomenon than most would admit.

: Marc ~Hi. I don't think I've met you yet, but let me tell you, yea,I think it's most definitely true what you said here, well, I know I feel that way most of the time.

: Bill I think Marcos and I feel this way alot. I know Raulito does. I think that alot of times it just takes us some hard time walking in each others' shoes to 'get it'. Marcos and I are prime examples. Sometimes he and I have the most elaborate misunderstandings, but then we take time and listen to each other and work at trying to get into the other's frame of mind and then later we come to an understanding. I think this is a normal pattern in our friendship, which shows that we have a good friendship. I have also experienced this with people like Chris, John and Steve. Communication is hard. It means that we have to temporarily abandon our frame of reference to get into someone else. Either that or we have to let it fuse or merge w someone else's. It takes work.

This is an excellent observation. Communication is a treasure, but it takes a great deal of time and effort. The rewards are invaluable...

I think what you did with the name of the speaker before the paragraphs is also excellent! This makes a long thread so easy to understand.
