Because people are not like God. Others' actions often cause pain, loss, offense, humiliation, etc., and it is often not easy to forgive these kinds of damage that we regularly endure at the hands of our friends. True Christianity is all about such love, acceptance, and forgiveness, which very much identifies the true believer as being "other" than a person with the more normal worldly mindset.

Yes, it should! The very commitment of friendship entails a solid realization that your friend will let you down at some point, and you are prepared to forgive them when they do.

This is one thing I have always loved about Jason--his characterizations. I particularly love the Garth-like look and the star-struck look. If I had no TV and needed entertainment, I would just give Jason some espresso. :-)
