eft, otherwise known as giveawayboy, will soon be launching it's all-out assault on the modern vaccuum with it's virtual cd campaign. eft is a real one-man band that will create virtual music and, on occassion, actual music documents. the first wing of eft's creative assault will be the release of it's first virtual cd. i am hoping that many of you will want to support the band and buy this cd which will be virtual and not actual music. this will require new kinds of listening skills for some listeners. eft also intends to produce some actual musical documents in future months, but even these will need enhanced listening skills. If you'd like to try on your webbed shoes for this soon to be launched artistic campaign, try spending lots of time in silence, or slowly tapping solitary objects to produce interesting patterns of sound. Also, you might want to take a walk down a street that is new to you, perhaps looking for squirrels as you go, all the while humming Charles Ives compositions. Who knows? You might be a natural for eft. remember, think outside the box. eft is by nature a very slippery project.
