: for pathetic. i don't honestly know what to tell you here. not knowing you, or what way to talk to you. not having much wisdom of my own, locked in perpetual cluelessness. all i can say is sometimes i'll see a little glimpse and in those moments i just hope and pray that i can see the next glimpse when it comes. i am hoping one day my vision will expand to see a few glimpses at once and begin to construct a better, fuller picture. i can also hope that you will see glimpses too. i just don't have all the specific answers for how to help you here. and that's o.k. i know you just taking time to write on the board was already a step for you, on your own to begin to deal w things. it showed your will in action. that is a sign of life. i would consider that. still, like i said i am oftened plagued by my own severe cluelessness.

Tomb of the Aposlte Thomas

: if it makes matters any better for you i can tell you how i just got back from spending the weekend at my friend Elias' house where I watched part two of a great video he made last July, while in India. In it he and his friends Madan and Praveen and David ran about Hyderbad and Chennai and visited various sites talkingn to each other in sign language. There were many spots where Elias visited Indian churches and talked in sign w the deaf community there. Talk about an amazing tape. Also, at one point Elias and David went to Saint Thomas' Mount, where the Apostle Thomas was said to have been martyred. Here is a wonderful ascent willed with signs talking about Thomas' doubt of the Lord and God's amazing testimony of faith through his life. Thomas is the one who put his hand in the wound of Christ. Later, he took the faith to India. Elias read the whole book of Acts in this church at the sight of Thomas' martyrdom. Right now I am sitting at my desk, with the window open. The weather is great out. The parrots outside my house are cackling louder than ever. I hope that something I might have shared helped you. I can assure you that you posting really helped me. I'm not sure if I know you or not, and I'm not sure that it really matters. I hope things go well for you. Really I do.

: With love, Bill

What a trip that must have been! You really know some amazing people, Bill. Makes me envious that I haven't gone into the Peace Corps or something.
