: If I would do anything for someone, than why is it so darn easy to do nothing?

Not meant to be an answer, just my opinion...

I have caught myself a couple of times not helping people. I used to help just about anyone, but slowly over my life I got burned or into situations that could have been very bad for me.
My *opinion* is that it is easy to say "I would do anything for someone", but the truth is that we have needs, feelings, timing, good days, bad days, suspicions, and a host of other things that on their own or together cause us to not help people.

I don't know if this is a good thing or not. We should be careful to not put ourselves in dangerous situations (i speak from experience) but we should also know that if our heart and motives are genuine that Christ will protect us.
