I've come to a conclusion. God definatley talks to us, but not always the way we think He will. I'd been praying for days for answers to several questions, and lo and behold, in having a conversation with a friend (about my questions), she told me how the sermons she watched (on TV, long story) were all about..PATIENCE. When she told me that, I totally got chills and, though it may sound cheesy, know that God was speaking through my friend telling me to be patient!
So yeah...I think He talks to us often, we just don't always either hear His voice or we may hear it and not recognize it for His.
