in the last year to year and a half, i have had two of my friends bury raccoons. the neat thing about this was that each of them was in some way touched on the passing of each raccoon and each of them felt compelled to share this event with others. i find these strange parallels w diff. sets of friends over the years. it's remarkable what odd moments we get to witness in the normal course of events. truth really is stranger than fiction.
