Jason, This is about the most REAL thing I've read in months. This seems like a dream I would have had myself. Wow! I LOVED it. Every aspect of it. I really thought it was neat about you and that guy with the social weirdness. That was too cool. Also, Brad knowing you meant HIM when you called him Jacob was way too much. That was real neat. I love the way you cared about lighting all through the dream. You seemed to progress entertainment to learning to intimacy in this dream. your awareness of others around you, and from further (weird social distance, yet w a promise of at least a hidden bond) to closer (brief chats w children, learning from paramedics and finally intimate w Jacob) grew throughout the dream. also, your lighting grew more clear throughout the dream. to me the dream might have some personal meanings to you which i'll never know, but to me it was definitely about relating to people and finding truth or clarity.

Later, Bill

: I had a dream...

: I was in a water park waiting for a friend. I decided to ride some rides - it was fun. My friend never showed, so I decided to walk through the 'games/activities' area. I had to walk up a steep hill to start at the beginning. I followed a path and every so often, there would be a game area with people playing games. Something had happened to the electricity, though, because the lights in these areas were dead, although the electric games were working (LEDs were lit up and display panels, etc.). The only game I remember seeing was one of those basketball shooting things with the little basketballs. I finally made it through the game area, and decided I wanted to go to Disney World. I paid my $50 dollars to get in and started walking through the park alone (there were people there, but it wasn't very busy). I went on some rides and decided I wanted to go to the Hall of the Presidents. I started walking to Frontierland and I heard a guy (who was also alone) ask information where the Hall of the Presidents was. I didn't say anything to him, although somehow, he knew I was going to the same place. We walked separately to the same place, and it was almost like a game between us to pretend that we weren't together. I would take an alternate path around some shops; he would walk on the far right-hand side of the street - it was strange feeling that social weirdness in a dream. In one of my little excursions, I remember walking through a pseudo-museum and I remember noticing the lighting. It was a sort of tan/off-white with track lights on the displays. I didn't try to flip any light switches, but I remeber thinking that the lights looked exacly the way I would've wanted them -- i.e. no need to change the lighting. Eventually we made it to Frontierland and he kind of disappeared. It didn't concern me that he did. I started asking people where the 'Hall was, and nobody knew. I found the place where I remembered it, but it had been turned into a restaurant. I remember asking a kid if he knew where it was - not because I though he knew, but because he looked like nobody ever asked him for information. He was happy to answer me, but he had never heard of the 'Hall. The next people I talked to were two paramedics dressed in navy blue uniforms. I remember thinking at first that they were police, but then they didn't have guns. When I spoke to them it became apparent they were paramedics. They didn't know about the Hall of the Presidents, but they did tell me that there were actually two methods to apply CPR. We talked about that for a while, and I went and sat down next to the guy who had been looking for the Hall of the Presidents "with" me (he reappeared at a plastic molded table like the kinds at McDonald's). We sat and talked for a bit, then I saw Brad Pitt walking a woman on a hospital gurney. I started calling him... "Jacob!"..."Jacob!" He turned around and smiled at me. Apparently I called him Jacob because he was a big fan of Bob Dylan, and Jacob Dylan is Bob's son (of the Wallflowers). It seemed that it was some kind of inside-joke/dream thing. Anyway, I ended up sitting on a wheelchair ramp talking to Brad about the woman on the gurney. She was pretending to be dead (he said that she looked perfect as a dead person, which is why he chose her), while he walked her through the park. The last thing I remember was Brad putting on light-blue tinted sunglasses and walking away.
