: : ~it appears from this that you don't like Ft. Lauderdale. May I ask why? Is Ft. Lauderdale really that bad?

: I guess it's not all that bad. It's just not a place that feels like 'home' to me at all! The first time J took me to Tampa...it felt like I was going home. It was the first time, since moving to Florida, that I really liked some place.
~I wish I could find some place or time where I would feel that I was going home. I cannot. I cant grasp that feeling that your talking about. I wish I could. I always feel like it says at the end of
"Cashing In" by Minor Threat, "there's no place like home.. so where am I
there's no place like home, right? so where am I?
so where am IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII...
: So..Ft. lauderdale is not that bad, but I'm done with it, over it, etc. I feel I've learned what it can teach me and I'm frustrated at being delayed in reaching my goals. The next step in all of these goals includes me living in Tampa. So basically, I feel like I'm about to take the first step of the rest of my life, but I'm balanced precariously on the edge of the curb, wasting time, when all I want to do is step into the street of the rest of my life and catch up with my own traffic.
: Make any sense at all?
~I would like to make that step, but I dont even know where to step to, I dont know where that
street "the rest of my life" is at.
