I know what you're talking about... I tend to struggle with similar emotions from time to time. I wonder why God lets bad things happen, or why he seemingly blesses some so abundantly while others struggle. Asking questions isn't where I have the problem, but not being satisfied with God and God alone. God kind of showed me this through the book of Job the other day. I read Job 1 (esp. verses 6-22) and started crying because I know that my attitude would not have been the same as Job. On the contrary, I would have ripped my clothes, thrown dust on my head, felt cheated, and complained incessantly to anyone in earshot. I am starting to realize (again) that God is ultimately in control of every situation I encounter, and even using them to draw me into a deeper appreciation of who He is and the love that he has for me. Unfortunately, I'm short on memory and thick in the skull area.
Don't be too hard on yourself. It sounds like God is already working...Cari
