: Either way, I feel that letting fans decide, as wise as they may be, is not a good idea because, is the band about music or politics? Popularity or musical integrity? From the conversations I had with band members it seemed that the idea was to go in a new direction, an untried direction. Is it wise to allow masses to dictate that? It seems that this approach will do nothing but keep the band in the tried and true.
